Hardware compatibility · Egelund PTT

EPTT keeps product, hardware and deployment decisions connected instead of treating them as separate purchases.

COMPATIBILITY CONTRACT

Compatibility is verified — not assumed.

An Android or PoC device becomes relevant only when the functions used by the operation work reliably on the exact model and software version.

01

Verified baseline

N56/N56A is used as a concrete verified baseline in EPTT material.

02

Candidate

Other Android/PoC devices are evaluated against the same technical criteria.

03

Boundary

A logo or Android version alone is not evidence of full compatibility.

01PTT button

Physical PTT behavior and button events must be tested.

02Audio

Microphone, speaker, routing and accessories must behave as expected.

03Network

Data connection, roaming and relevant network requirements must fit the use case.

04OS & firmware

Firmware or Android changes may require re-verification.

05Lifecycle

Variant, supply period and support/RMA remain separate from software compatibility.

Compatibility status applies to the exact model/variant and tested functions — not automatically the full product family.
